Why should the pagans have all the fun, I agree with you. Bless the children, just don't sanctify the bunny.  Some folks must think the Lord lacks a sense of humor.

It's not reading into things at all. It is all really true. Easter eggs hunts are a pagan ritual and God hates the ways and practices of the pagans. But do what you want.
