"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Brother R., this has been our conversation thus far. The bolded part is what prompted my question. Somehow we went from there to discussing Brother Epley. You have me confused now. I wanted you to explain who the people are on AFF that aren't oneness. You said there are many. Who are the many? When you say people aren't oneness are you referring to the libs who don't agree with you on dress standards, the one steppers who disagree with you on salvation, or do you actually mean trinitarian posters?

So administrators set the tone or attitude for the forum?

Not at all. You are sadly mistaken if you think being an admin limits an admin to posting warm fuzzies with no meat.
We are expected to post our opinons just as any other poster.
What is important in an admin is the ability to be fair in evaluating when posts cross over a line and break a rule, etc.

I'm talking about people who do not believe that Jesus was the Almighty God (Father) manifested in the flesh. I'm absolutely A One God Believer.

Ok. The overwhelming majority of the membership on this board believe it the same way. I don't know of any trinitarians around here, other than Reformed Dave. There are some trinitarian sympathizers (the ones who don't think someone will go to hell for being a trinitarian), but RD is pretty much the only trinitarian I know of around these parts.

I'm not sure that any here do not believe that. Their opinion may differ from yours as much as with mine on God head but I think, from all I have read, that most everyone here believes Jesus is God Almighty in the flesh.
Amazingly I have recently meet oneness believers that do not believe it the same way I do. I have also found that there are a group of Baptists that teach it and believe it like I do but still baptize in the titles. AMAZING
