Okay, true - I asked my husband if he noticed the women's hair in our churches. He said, "Yes, because we preach about it all the time." I slapped him and told him to stop looking!
I'm not sure men are obsessed by the topic. I haven't noticed it - okay - St. Mark, but who's counting?

Go look at his holiness thread. He addresses it to women, but look at all the men commenting!! LOL!!! I think four men commented before the first woman did!!

Yes, it does. Why don't the men talk about what the men ought to be doing to keep the anointing in their churches? Instead, they (and some women) blame it on the women not following dress standards. That's pathetic. Don't men have enough anointing and Holy Ghost in the church?

I think that's a shame. The men in your church have so little anointing and influence in the church that all it would take to change the entire culture of the 'movement' are the women lacking dress standards as taught by the UPC in America???? Are you men that weak in doctrine and anointing yourselves?
That's horrible. There's no way I'd admit to or agree with that if I were a man.

The MEN of the Apostolic movement aren't spiritual enough to maintain doctrine & anointing if women don't abide by certain guidelines.
AND, spiritual men can't protect their homes if their wives cut their hair, no matter how much they pray and serve God. God only looks at the woman's head, and that is the determining factor for His blessings or His curse.

Brat, why do you do this to me?????
I comment only to find that you have already said basically the same thing!!!! Sheesh!!!
LOL!

Yet the men here will beat their chests about how they are the leader, spiritual and otherwise, in their home and the women are to submit and not tell them what to do and not preach and not speak and not.......
Well, the proof is......

I think some of you menfolk are quite strange.
I can't imagine being on a thread about men's dress and commenting about things I know nothing about as if I do.
Honestly, some of you have something wrong upstairs. I'm serious here. I think there are quite a few of you who need to pray and ask God to get your eyes off other women and what they are wearing and how they are wearing it. Some of you men notice more about women's clothing than the women do!
Anyone who has been around here knows that when it comes to women's clothing issues, there are more men commenting on those threads than women. Just look at the latest women's holiness thread!!
Some of you have a problem and need to seek God. Bad.

Can't say that I can fully understand this statement.
My wife can refer to a certain woman that we saw or met, unable to recall her name she will refer to her as the woman with the blue blouse with a white corsage. Or she might refer to the woman with the black open toe pumps with the long black skirt. In those cases, I never know who she is talking about because I never see what is being worn by the woman. I see her eyes and face, picking up on her personality...just as I do with men too.
So, there is no obsession as far as I am concerned. I would make A TERRIBLE holiness Pastor because I would very seldom notice, unless of course, there was something quite vulgar or extreme inappropriate about her dress.
No obsession here Miss Heavenly One.

Well, that's because even though we may disagree on the particulars, we nearly always agree on principle!!!!
