People (and pulpits) being split in two by lightning? Must be true if a friend of a friend read about it from an old newspaper article..... I've also hear from reliable sources that Walt Disney is frozen in a vault beneath the Pirates ride in Orlando. There IS a reason that sites like http://snopes.com/ exist.
All the while there are daily stories of God changing peoples lives around. I think the testimony of a 20-something girl addicted to meth who is now a cop herself and telling other young people about the dangers of drugs is truly amazing!
The pulpit thing didn't happen in a federal prison. A happening in a federal prison would be news.
I heard about the pulpit by word of mouth but never a peep about a man divided in half by lightning coming from another man.
Why didn't old Bennie Hinn mention this or Paula White or the many TV religious con men. This would be a real money making story.
By the way I never heard how the pulpit thing edified the body of Christ.

Ditto, the thing is the media doesn't side with JESUS., they delight in spreading news of a BAD nature, you know crimes, disasters, taxes, serial murderers, OR celebrity gossip, etc.etc.
I rarely ever watch t.v. news., nor read much about 'the world' news its mostly depressing.
No any GOOD NEWS having to do with our savior, is OURS to spread., and so we should.
