Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!
I have a quick question... has anyone been insulted by EB's insinuations that we are pagan or Catholic for embracing Christmas traditions?

Not me. I'm confident enough in our decisions and thought processes to not care if someone else thinks I'm a heathen.
Further, many of our traditions did come from Catholicism and paganism. I'm just not one who believes that the source necessarily determines the value or lack thereof.

The only thing I ever find insulting, is when such "traditions" are allowed to be cherry-picked -some are accepted and others rejected and heaven help you if you don't make the same choices as ME.

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!
Someone was issued an infraction because apparently it insulted someone else here. lol I guess it's cool to call people pagan and Catholic all day long...but call someone on what you think is less than honest or uninformed and look out. Doh! lol
I just want to tell everyone here that I love y'all. Even EB's non-Christmas practicin' self. Big hugs here. Big hugs.

Stop there with that part you wrote, and that says it all. Par for the course in any chat with EB, our good bro from FL.

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!
Is it not interesting that the physical issues always take up more concern than the issues that are unseen and are eternal?

It's a strange insult, since my mother is Catholic.
