I'm not sure. After Prosecution rests, Friday, and the Judge rules against the Motion to Dismiss, which is always the case, the Defense will bring it's witnesses.
Because the Prosecution brought in some information about GZ's past history, i.e., the DV charges, which were mutual and charges dropped, I am thinking he now can do that, but I am not sure.
At the outset, the Judge wasn't allowing texts, etc. concerning, TM. If it had been any other Judge, they might have. We shall see.
I don't know why they would think the toxicology report is not admissible.
TM is not on trial, but this history could paint where his mind was at, at the time of the altercation.
I didn't read the texts and am asking for verification, but I am understanding that TM and DeeDee had been fighting throughout the day, TM texts that was hiding drugs to bring into Sanford and to buy more while there, that he needs to stop fighting even though he knows he won't, someone stating he needed to stop or he will get a bullet in his chest some day, among other texts.
Here is what the Judge ruled is off limits for TM, but ONLY in opening statements. I think O'Mara will bring up the other information later. This past week was about George. It is touchy for both sides.

Wow! TM has quite a history, that's for sure. One thing I know for sure, however, is that no trial is a fair trial - ever. It's all about who can present their case the best within the confines of the technicalities of our laws. Truth is never presented in full. I do hope that, at the very least, TM's condition, thought patterns, habits and recent attitudes will be admissible.

That is exactly why I didn't continue in the field. Even though starting out as a Secretary, the law firm planned to send me to law school. The last case we handled was a police officer who had held back some drugs during a raid. We were representing him for a lesser sentence. I thought they should send him up the river, but that is the judicial system.
He came by the office and asked if I might be able to alert him to any developments so he could flee to Mexico. LOL! Yea, Buddy, NO!
I got in trouble for anything I did growing up and I thought criminals should do the same. Could you see me, with my own client? "But, you did do it." Cut and dried. So naive.
GZ has a bit of history himself, and some violence. It wouldn't look good for him either. I keep thinking it might be a hung jury, but we will see what the Defense can do. I think O'Mara is the bomb. I love listening to him. When he calmly says, "That's okay." Makes everyone on the stand very comfortable, but he did get a little aggressive with DeeDee. He knew she was lying through her teeth.

Re: George Zimmerman Trial Live Streaming
Here are his texts lined out in this article. I never have read that he and DeeDee had been arguing. That was a new one for me. Still trying to confirm.
Trying to work on a couple of paintings, so while petals are drying, I sit down and check out a little more. lol
BTW, notice that the texts pulled were from 2011. We might delete them from the phone, but they are still there.
Off topic, sort of - Someone told me today that Administrators on any Forum can read your private emails, he hosts several, and if they say they can't, they are lying. Yikes! LOL! This is what he said, "Well there is software out there that you can add to do it. It isn't VB approved, but still exists. So one has to assume any site that survives on data mining, and the sale of such information has it installed."

Re: George Zimmerman Trial Live Streaming
Another person told me that the clerk from the 7-11 had testified. I don't recall that happening and asked for the trial day for confirmation. They just let me know they don't remember. But, possibly Monday or last week. lol
Did anyone catch that? I don't recall that at all.

Very fascinating, PO. I had forgotten that you worked in a law firm.
I get sucked into some of these televised/recorded trials (much to my family's dismay, lol). It's not so much the trials themselves, I don't think; but the process.
I've only been a juror once (I was chosen as foreperson) and I absolutely LOVED it! We found the accused "not guilty" even knowing that it was very possible that he did, in fact, commit a crime. Our decision was based solely on the laws and the instructions given to us by the judge.
We all knew that we could not go with our gut feelings and we even had to throw out [of our minds] a video surveillance tape we saw because it was not admitted into evidence but was for demonstrative purposes only.
I honestly have no idea if that man DESERVED to be punished. I just knew that, based on the packet of instructions we were given, we had to admit reasonable doubt and find him not guilty.
I loved being a juror! (Can that be a career? lol)
I think O'Mara is tremendous! He's smart and questions in a respectable manner. He seems to be able to turn any evidence (or opinion) to his side. He's doing his job perfectly. West is okay as well. I, personally, like the job he's doing and I usually don't mind the dryness of his way/manner of questioning. I love information, so it's good.
Re: Zimmerman's past... I don't know much about him. I didn't pay much attention to this case until day 2 or 3 of this trial; having only caught bits and pieces of info from his previous court hearings that were televised.

Re: George Zimmerman Trial Live Streaming
Yes the Clerk testified, it was one of the Prosecutions first witnesses, he really did not have much..I think if you go to"youtube" and type in what you are looking for about the case or want to hear testimony it is out there if you missed something..
