Having a tent revival in the 21st century is really being unwilling to let go of old methods

It may be fun for nostalgia's sake but as the popularity of tent revivals died out over the last few decades about the only ones left frequenting them are the itinierent saints looking for a thrill without having to commit to a real church.

Do you guys play the accordian in the tent revial?

La!!!! we do it on the anniv. of bro barnes's death. he always wanted to have tent revivals, but felt it was always something.....too hot...too many bugs...things like that. we always have a great turn out. they are real fun! on during the day on saturday...we have a HUGE SINGING! we also call it a reunion. have people come from all over that use to attend our church. it was really fun.

I can see it as a kind of chuch reunion. That would be fun. As a legitimate outreach I think it is past it's prime.

What time of year did Bro. Barnes die? Please tell me you are not having a tent revival in La. in the summer!!!!!!
