The above cannot be said of every conservative church. Therefore the above statement is agenda driven. Again the UC is portrayed as the cave dwelling Neanderthal.

What is your idea of truth?

So I guess that the holiness movements throughout history were just a bunch of dumb hill billies?

Charismatic liberals produce tantrums, outbursts. Hey, this is an equal opportunity forum.

Yes. But, at the same time, there is a difference, IMO. MOW is still attending a Oneness church, speaks respectfully of Oneness brethren, etc. You are walking away from it all, and attending a trinitarian church, and helping people get baptized in the titles, and making them feel saved without the Spirit.

MOW may not require all of that, but he still leads people to get baptized in Jesus Name, and still desires that they receive the Holy Ghost and does ardently attempt to lead them to that.

There is a big difference.

Brett,

Based on your posts of late I have this image of you mowing your yard proudly in a white shirt, tie, dress slacks, and dress shoes.

That is fine of course if that is what floats your boat but I just find it a funny thought.

I am sure the neighbors watching would see you and think "man that guy is holy!, I sure wish I had whatever he has!"

I have thought about this for some time trying to figure out why and here are some of my theories / thoughts;

1. Ultra cons are not used to their positions being questioned or contended with as their paradigm does not allow for that kind of scrunity / contention. AFF and the like takes them out of their comfort zone.

2. Because by the very nature of their ultra conservative positions it is hard for ultra cons to contend for their positions without violating the spirit and or rules of the forum since they really do believe almost everybody else is going to hell for any myriad of "sins" from short sleeved shirts to playing golf depending on just how ultra the con is.

3. They get sick and tired of having positions, applications of scripture, etc that they hold dear and sacred being dismissed as wrong by mods and libs.

4. The occasional run of wacko ultra libs is just "one toke over the line" of their willingness to interact with the other spectrums of Oneness Pentecost.
Man you are on a roll lately, what kind of supplements is the Mrs. giving you, great post and insight!

Sorry, bro. I wear sleeves to my elbows most of the time, although I usually am in dress slacks. That isn't a standard, I'm just fat and their more comfortable. Dress shoes look better with them than tennis shoes.

The part you really missed was me out mowing. I've got a son who has a mowing business. He's thirteen and I like his price to dad...FREE!

CC1, you are misrepresenting my position on this, entirely, but that's okay. I'm used to it!

Hey, I didn't say I was happy with MOW on this--but folks in his church do go through all three steps eventually--are that is the desire.

Cooper has walked away from that altogether.

#5. Bored with the same old arguments and putdowns...and too tired at night to summons more than a "howdy CC1!" (at least for this uc)
