Another example of the danger posed by the Republican Party. This is what we call, "blame the victim".

The scientists are suffering from psychological and emotional trauma stemming from the conclusions that their data points to. This illustrates that this isn't a "hoax", at the very least, these scientists sincerely believe that their data is true. And if it is... the public history of openly denying this looming catastrophe among Republicans will be immortalized... and the Republican Party will become a byword and perhaps even be retired to the ash heap of history with other failed political parties.

The science tells us that we are approaching the tipping point. It's almost game day. And the Republicans have promised that all this climate change and environmental concern is a hoax. Soon and very soon... we're going to find out if the Republicans are right. And... if the Republicans are wrong... may God help them as a political party. They will be done.

Seriously.
You "assume" that your side is right and any other side is automatically wrong.
To me, that proves that you are the one blinded and not me.
My carnal flesh wanted to post my accomplishments and ask you about yours, but that is not right nor is that the point.
The point is that you do not realize that I might actually view the "facts" and reach a different conclusion.
Therefore you attempt to discredit my opinion.
Not cool.
A - I guess I should be used to you not responding to posts like this.
Time after time, you ignore posts that are inconvenient for you to answer or that hold you accountable for your words.
Which is a shame.
I believe you have much to offer, with your different viewpoints.
But, if you cannot overcome your desire to paint certain groups as "evil" or "devils", then people stop listening to you.
Someone can have an entirely different political viewpoint than you and still go to heaven.
God Bless.

Same thing AlGore claimed back in 2006, when he claimed “unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return.”

But he can't do this unless he gets the climatologists, he claims not to trust, to do his homework for him. Lol

It's not that the effects will be the same, it's that a single sample of data can be used as a baseline in computer simulations to predict various effects. We can computer generate what will happen globally if sea levels rise 20 feet. Even flood geologists use these simulations.

The one thing these simulations can't do is predict the exact number of home and or businesses will be affected because these factors fluctuate. Of course exact numbers for each area will need to be made section by section.

But think about it. If a panel of scientists said a one meter rise could cost an estimated amount of damage based on a selected area at a specific sea level, because it represents an average...who in their right mind would say, "Yeah, but you don't know exact dollar amount of damage unless you survey every 30ft.!" Lol
All that blabbering and you still can't admit you were wrong about the bill.

No banning of speech.
No silencing of scientists

None of what you claimed was true. But that's typical of liberals. They get hysterical and make claims which are not true, hoping that their fearmongering will cause people to join with them.

And so it has been 11 years since Al Gore said that, and climatologists are sounding the alarm that we're on the edge of the tipping point wherein it will be too late. Not a bad estimation.

Some climatologists are saying that Al Gore was too optimistic and that it is already too late. They argue that if we made significant changes on a global level today, this very moment, we'd only be fighting to minimize the catastrophe that is now inevitable.

Re: Libs are against free speech

I wonder if climate change and our environmental crisis was foreseen in the Bible. Jesus said,
Matthew 24:7
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mark 13:8
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Luke 21:11
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke 21:25
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

In the Book of Revelation we read of famines, earthquakes, wars, pestilence, etc. But we also read this...
Revelation 16:8-9
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
And...
Revelation 11:18
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Read what he said carefully... that if we don't act within 10 years. I'd imagine that if he were right, 11 years after saying this scientists would begin screaming that we're on the verge of the point of no return.

We're dealing with climate and natural sciences. If the estimation is 10 years and the tipping point is well within sight after 11 years... perhaps adding two to 4 additional years... he wasn't all that mistaken. Given a geologic time, he's almost spot on.

Global warming fearmongers are simply wrong.

Remember them screeching about how the Antarctic is melting ... only to be forced to admit that the ice level was actually growing.

Their claims of global warming have been found to be wrong as well. The earth has cycles of warming and cooling.
