Re: Romneys out of touch

PO - let's breakdown the other candidates
Perry - I know he was your guy, but his terrible debate performances killed his chances
Newt - his choices in his personal life killed his chances
Paul - never gonna win. I would have voted for him, if I thought he had a chance. He is probably closer to my opinions than any other candidate.
Santorum - not really a conservative, in my opinion and has too many meltdowns. I think he is a lot like Romney, just not as electable.
So, we are left with Mitt and unless we get behind him and stop tearing him down, we will be looking at 4 more years of BHO.

True believer: How Mitt Romney shows the strength of his religious passion... by wearing special Mormon underwear

The image showing Mr Romney wearing the underwear ties in with his campaign tales of life as a Mormon missionary in France in the 1960s

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...underwear.html
I'd like to play devil's advocate just ONE more time.

The shot of the Mormon magic underwear beneath Romney's shirt is clearly not a Photoshop.

Imagine where this is headed: Romney and Obama on the debate stage.

Obama: "Now, I have been entirely open about my Christian faith, and even left my church when the pastor said things I could not stand with. Now in the interest of being as open as possible to the American people, not because of the embarrassment but because of the perception of superstition, I ask you, are you wearing magic Mormon underwear right now, because some folks say you are?"

Crowd EXPLODES into laughter - then anxious silence waiting for the answer.

Romney smiles and laughs in a pathetic attempt to soften the devastating political blow.

ROMNEY: "Well, what kind of underwear do you wear?"

Obama: "I wear boxers, just like Bill Clinton. Now, I'm serious, because having a superstitious president who thinks he will become God is not something America would be comfortable with."

Romney: "Now look, this is silly. We need to get back to the issues."

Obama: "Mental stability IS an issue, Governor."

HUGE APPLAUSE.

Re: Romneys out of touch

PO - the only place that dialogue will happen is here.
BHO is actually too smooth, (at least in public), to say that.
If he did say that, it would result in a loss of votes for him.
At least that is my opinion.

Probably so, but you have to admit that would be funny.

Okay, I'm done.
