Were you asking about Bro. Martyn Ballestero's daughter or Bro. Carl Ballestero's daughter, Bro. Martyn Ballestero's sister?

Re: Apostolic Preachers

I know that Brother Carl Ballestero's daughter died at a young age from a very nasty disease. Bro. Martyn Ballestero has a blog post that briefly spoke about her.

Re: Apostolic Preachers

Heh. I didn't know that there were more than one Ballestero families.

The one I am referring to first name is Ramona. I believe she is still alive.

Don't ask me how I remember her after all these years. I barely remember but a few in my class. Maybe it is the last name and the fact that she had the longest hair I have ever seen on another girl. She kept it either braided or pony tail.

Re: Apostolic Preachers

That was fairly unusual when most of us were Catholic by religion.

She is now Sis. Ramona Yandris. She is the sister of Bro. Martyn Ballestero, and they are the children (along with Sis. Nila Marxer) of Bro. Carl Ballestero and his wif Connie Ballestero. She would likely have been the young lady that you remembered.

This would include the Davis family (peers), Bro. Verbal Bean, Bro. Carl Ballestero, Bro. Cavananess (all AMF), Bro. Johny King, Bro. Larry Booker, Bro. Leon Frost, among many others. My own family had limited interactions with Bro. Terry. This would have made his influence felt behind the scenes.

Bro. L.E. Westburg is a well known name, and was also very influential behind the scenes. Many of the ministers that sat under or worked with him during his time as Kansas District Superintendant have also left.

Thus although both were departed at the time of the split, it could be said that they were the ones who influenced most of the departing ministers who formed the WPF.

I have heard both these names mentioned before in conferences but have never heard any of their messages. I'll have to try to look them up and get some messages.

Re: Apostolic Preachers

Prominence would depend upon a person's circle of fellowship really. By the way all Trinitarians are as lost as two boys kissing. NONE of them are Apostolic. Just saying.

Re: Apostolic Preachers

Rather than pick that scab, lol; do Apostolics have a conception of "Right Pastor?" I have only just read of this, but it seems to resonate.

If he does, then he doesn't use the word "apostolic" in the way most oneness pentecostals use it. T.D. Jakes does NOT consider himself to be oneness (he hasn't for quite a few years now). Look at the following links.
