The one thing that I have not seen on this topic is Why even watch TBN in the first place?
Not everything on TBN is the same stuff. They have some good gospel singers from time to time. I've seen some great shows where Vicki sang and someone else preached etc etc. They also have or had other good shows on like The Way of the Master series

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Thanks for the correction. It's been a long time since I heard him say that. Probably about 10 years ago.
Born and raised in the Golden State.
LOL, sorry, did NOT mean that to come across as a correction, I am sure that he has probably said it in a variety of ways in many settings! I just thought I would share the whole thought, as I have heard it many, many times!
It's possible he was just going for a laugh, but either way--I'm no fan of TBN. I don't watch it unless I've been told ahead of time to be looking for something specific. If I were at home and needed something to watch on Sunday morning, I'd much prefer local church broadcasts than TBN's blatant 24-hour fundraising efforts.
However, since TBN is a religious (specifically Christian) organization, you would expect them to consistently uphold basic biblical commandments in their own broadcasts.
Ergo, it is shocking that they would allow comments that are supportive of premarital sex to pass unchecked. Okay, not shocking--but at least annoying.

There is NO good Sunday morning programming on ANY station with the occasional exception of the first two NFL games (during football season) which usually start at 10 am Arizona time.

Yeah, be careful what you are shocked about. You know what happened to that number-name guy.

Are you a Californian?? BTW, that quote is one of Bro. Mullings trademarks, except it usually goes like this; "people are pitiful, and we are all people..."
That Brother Mullings is a wise fellow and comes up with some good sayings quite often.
If I were you I would try to go hear him as often as possible. Wish I wasn't so far away.
Eddie was home yesterday afternoon, resting a little before church because he had a hard word to bring to the congregation last night. It was about carnality in the church - very sobering. Anyway, he flipped on TBN, which is rare, and they had Paula White interviewing Steve Harvey, the comedian. Steve made the statement that he felt like women shouldn't "give it away" during the first 90 days of a dating relationship - that they should wait that long before having sex. He said that he knew what the Bible said, but he also knew how women were! When he said that, the audience and the interviewers all clapped and laughed.
It made Eddie so mad and it just made me sick when he told me. I cannot believe that they laughed about this on the biggest Christian TV station in the world. God help us! Is there no sin anymore?
Did anyone else see this?
Did you all just realize that the Charismatic movement was heading in that direction?

I didn't see it, but it really doesn't surprise me. I have been a supporter of TBN and others on here but I have seen somethings on there over the years that make me scratch my head.
Really had you baffled eh?
Did you start scratching after Jim and Tammy put the air conditioner in the their dogs house? Or was it after they held a marriage ceremony for their pooches on their show?

You must of been scrating and huhing a whole lot Hoss.

wait,it get's worse. There is no hell either. Read the discussions in the general debate area. Yep, no Hell. Yet I had someone tell me the reason there is so much sin is because of the preaching of hell. Can you believe that? People sin because there is an eternal consequence to sin? I don't think so. The christian world is messed up and backwards
Hey, look at it this way, those who don't believe in hell will someday get to try out their theroy.
So people sin because there is a lake of burning torment?
Well, I have been saying it for a long time, the Church world is shot in the head, and the people love to have it so.
Bon appetit, ya'll
