Thank you.
His post is simply a copout.
Not that hard to see.

Burk, you posted that in reply to a post that I made, so I'm assuming you're lumping me in with this bunch.
Sir,please get your facts straight.
I have never said that his supposed associatation with Muslims disqualifies him. Never.
I challenge you to prove otherwise, becauase I know I have never said any such thing.
Clearly , you're not someone I'd ever accuse of being obsessed with truth and accuracy.

TRF, are you spitting again?
Why are you so angry? I don't care if you agree or disagree with me. Nothing I've said here should be taken personal. I was talking about in general. Besides, we are talking about issues, remember? What you believe about politics is your business. The Bible says it is God who puts leaders in and who takes them out. Consequently, I'm not worried about who gets elected. So don't lose your victory over such things, okay?

Sister, you really need to get a better grip on of your history. Both sides (Dem & Rep) recognized the role the US Supreme Court played in that decision.
PS I am not a "liberal media" fan. But I do believe that a Christian is called to tell it like it is, without bias.

Burk, I'm not spitting and I'm not angry at all.
These claims of me supposedly "spitting" are starting to come across as just a cynical attempt by you to take the moral and/or intellectual high ground in this discussion. If that is the case, it will not work.
Time and again you have made statements here that are simply not accurate or true, and when you did, I called you on it. Plain and simple. Nothing personal, but truth and accuracy should matter, especially to Christians. If we get so caught up in pushing our position that we choose to repeatedy make inaccurate statements to push our point of view, that's clearly not a good thing.
Think about it...You made a statement (see post #48) that implied that I had made an issue of Obama's "associations with Muslims".. which I something I never did. Why should I not object to that?
If you make statement and assertions that are inaccurate, then dont be surprised if someone calls you on it...that doesnt mean they're "angry", so stop with that silliness please. If you cant provide a quote or documentation to back up the assertion you're being challenged on, you're probably just better off just admitting that, rather than evading the issue, or sounding like you're just trying to justify yourself.
Good day to you, Burk

Sorry to disagree with you. But the RECOUNT proved Bush won. Had he not the Media would never have shut up about it.

Recounts in Miami-Dade Find Bush a Fair Winner
By Bob Drogin
February 27, 2001 in print edition A-10
Ever since the Miami-Dade County canvassing board abruptly stopped its manual recount of disputed presidential ballots on Nov. 22, supporters of Al Gore have complained that the Democratic nominee was unfairly deprived of legitimate votes.
Independent reviews of those ballots by two Florida newspapers, however, indicate that the former vice president would not have gained enough extra votes to overtake George W. Bush in the tumultuous postelection race for the White House.
The Miami Herald reported Monday that, based on its own examination of 10,644 ballots that did not register votes in tabulating machines, Gore would have netted only an additional 49 votes from the state’s most populous county.
