Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson
For those of us that are parents and thought we were the most blessed people with kids. Then comes the grands, and for some reason it seems a double blessing with these precious babies. They are our blessings of our old age. Even if we aren't OLD.

Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson
those are sweet pictures, PO. Thank you for sharing them. I'm sooooo glad you got to hold your grandson. I'm willing to bet that that is highlight of your life
You know, I was thinking about it and realized that lots of people don't get to hold their grandbabies when they are first born. Sometimes they live way too far away. Sometimes there is illness involved. All sorts of reasons. But that doesn't mean they love them any less. Nor does it mean that the grandchild will love the grandparents any less in years to come either.
Shoot! My boys never even met their grandma (my mom) until they 2 1/2 years old and 17 months old.

Thanks, Margie. That boy of mine has some kind of thick hair! He could grow a full beard in a week. LOL!
Yea, I was thinking about them moving next year. It's going to be a bummer, but I can't do anything about it. They will be putting their house on the market in February. I just want God's will in their lives either way.
Well, I think when kids are that young, 2 1/2, 17 months or a couple months like my grandson, they don't know if you held them or not. But, it's nice to be involved in their life.
And, yes, that was the highlight of my week for sure!!!

Thanks!! He is cute. I told my daughter that he was really more pretty than anything. She said, "I know. He takes after his mother."
He is loving his jungle gym. He kicks his feet and makes those little animals rattle. He loves that. So cute to see babies making discoveries. He is also a very loud child. He's always making noises. When she calls me, you can always hear him in the background. Does Mattie do that? Or is that a fair comparison between a baby girl and boy? LOL!

Well, he's a month ahead of Mattie, but she is just starting to make little noises (like the video last Sun) when you talk to her. It's like she wants to talk so bad, but all she can do is coo a little. I did notice this weekend that she's following people really good and she watches her animals going around when she's in her swing. Like you said, so fun to watch them discovery and learn!
