Misleading questions are asked to lead the one being questioned into the wrong direction. When we put the whole first post together in its context we find that the poster had an agenda to mislead the readers into thinking the worst about JP.

One's own perception is there reality. People tend to want to believe misrepresentations about the tribe they are not affiliated with. That's what makes American Churchanity what it is today.
