Looks like it is 10 years old, posts back to 07, id say the prophecy has not been fulfilled. Also, I think last years youth congress was the biggest yet. My daughter enjoyed it.

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!
I am not bashing any specific organization. What I'm about to say can apply to any church, organization, or fellowship group.
Numbers, activities, building projects, and money do not indicate spiritual life.
In fact, many spiritually errant and dead denominations, movements, and organizations can point to rising numbers, solid revenue streams, and even in some cases, global recognition.
What determines if a religious movement is alive or dying is it desire to hold to a genuine, Spirit filled, faith in Jesus Christ, and a commitment to maintain, search out, teach, and defend, biblical truth.
The early church grew by leaps and bounds. Soon, Christianity was spread throughout the empire like wildfire. But as the church was growing, so too were doctrinal errors and heresies. Also, various "traditions" were being established. Soon, Christianity was declared the official religion of Rome. By this time, the Christian church had established itself. They had vast numbers, established traditions, established an orthodoxy, in addition to a hierarchal clergy structure, and even social and political influence. However, the church had apostatized. It's traditions and doctrines of man had led her down the path to idolatry, extra-biblical authority, and human traditions being taught as doctrine.
Only the Lord Himself knows if the UPIC is on the path to apostacy or standing on rock solid "bible truth" in all things. Personally, I've seen UPCI churches that are very much alive and thriving. I've also seen a few that are thriving, and yet....there is indeed something missing and the focus is on man made traditions and organizational identity instead of being identified in Christ and in Christ alone. In spite of all the noise, preaching, dancing, shouting, etc.... they are spiritually dead. It's all flesh.
I pray that the UPCI (and all Apostolic organizations) experience a season wherein the mighty and powerful winds of refreshing blow upon them and that a newness and freshness be found in the mighty thing the Lord desires to do in the earth in these last days.

Well, Vicki now tries to sell a book that if you read it you will see Jesus Christ.
So, she has moved to nutville and the UPCI is soldiering on. Vicki Yohe zero, UPCI one.

Only the Lord knows? Chris, we know better than that. You wouldn't enter a conversation if you thought only one person knows something you don't. You prove it in the very next sentence. Only the Lord knows? Well, in the next sentence we find that you know too. While the Lord remains silent and keeps His opinion to Himself. Chris on the other hand is going to educate us on his knowledge of an organization which he has disparaged throughout this forum. Oh, yes, he has admitted that the organization has thriving churches, but he quickly follows that cheerful report with his verdict of death.

So, what should they do Chris? Disband their churches and follow you? Or just sit at home and have family altar time with milk and cookies? In Christ and in Christ alone? What does that really look like? Is YOUR life an example of that? Should all the Apostolics and UPCers watch your lifestyle and find what it is like to be in Christ and in Christ alone? Bro, you aren't doing anything. If YOU were an organization it would be YOU who would be in trouble. Don't ya think?

Bro, be at peace. Don't worry your little head.
The UPCI and the Apostolics are going to be alright. You need to take care of your own self. Really, physician heal thyself. Because if you set the example, boy I don't know what your idea of a refreshing looks like.

Well, I think they'd do well to abandon the practice of teaching for doctrines the commandments of men... and return to the Bible.
That's what I think.
Let me guess... you disagree?

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!
There isn’t enough inclusion within the UPCI. It’s a predominantly white denomination with no interest in allowing minorities in key leadership positions. As far as I’m concerned, the UPCI is racist.

You don’t think the UPCI represents the demographics of the nation?
