Ah these wimmin and their therapist.

The car was down two blocks, around the corner, across the street, up the elevator to the 10th floor, up the ramp, to the other side and to the car in slot 950.

By that time, it was real interesting.

Pay attention, no smileys inserted. I got the thickest skin around, but this post ticked me off.

That can't help but affect friendship and relationship. Doesn't mean that people haven't still loved and cared about me, but it does make things difficult to a degree. Besides that there were other things going on that made it all very very difficult at that time.

Talking with a couple of my friends (both PWs) they said to me that they've wondered if there wasn't more that could have been done at the time that might have resulted in our staying. I don't know. Perhaps. Perhaps not. The thing is I hold no ill will toward anybody. I don't blame anyone. I'm not holding anybody accountable.

They've stated that my being together with them has affected them so much. I laughed and said, "Well, why would my being with you affect you to any extent?!?" They said , "Words can't express!" .... and I know exactly what they mean because I feel the same way. And I believe it's just the goodness of the Lord!

I'm just thankful that at this point in my life.......10 years down the road from when we left ..... that I have no bitterness. I love everybody and am so so so so thankful that reconnections have been made.

I'm not sure where it all will go - maybe nowhere - but I've come to realize how much I need people in my life who I know truly love me and care about me. I embrace these people from my past who were such an important part of my life. It feels great to have re-established relationship and they've expressed that to me as well.

I've made new friends as well and I appreciate them so much and the fact that they are a part of my life now as well.

I'm just me. I can't be anyone else but me. Some things have changed and I've changed in some ways and have come to realize that I can't do some things the same way I used to do them, and have no intention of it either.

Sorry I got to rambling but your post, Cupcake dear, just drew this out of me.
Thanks, you are an All-Star!

Circulate among friends and keep your cell phone on. Once in a while, call up a Pastor friend and say,

"Hello Doc! I was thinking about you and your church the other day and suddenlty got a heavy burden. I started earnestly praying about the things that I was feeling and the Lord gave me a message that will greatly encourage you and help your church. Would next week be a good time to begin a few days meeting or do you think we ought to wait until after the holidays?"

Naaaah... T.B. wouldn't use that old worn out tactic.
