They've stated that my being together with them has affected them so much. I laughed and said, "Well, why would my being with you affect you to any extent?!?" They said , "Words can't express!" .... and I know exactly what they mean because I feel the same way. And I believe it's just the goodness of the Lord!

I'm just thankful that at this point in my life.......10 years down the road from when we left ..... that I have no bitterness. I love everybody and am so so so so thankful that reconnections have been made.

I'm not sure where it all will go - maybe nowhere - but I've come to realize how much I need people in my life who I know truly love me and care about me. I embrace these people from my past who were such an important part of my life. It feels great to have re-established relationship and they've expressed that to me as well.

I've made new friends as well and I appreciate them so much and the fact that they are a part of my life now as well.

I'm just me. I can't be anyone else but me. Some things have changed and I've changed in some ways and have come to realize that I can't do some things the same way I used to do them, and have no intention of it either.

Sorry I got to rambling but your post, Cupcake dear, just drew this out of me.
