Most cars have been connected for a couple years now. Nest, ring, phillips hue, security systems and ifttt have been connecting homes to remote wifi for years.

Old school augmented reality is called a green screen.

Virtual friends have been around for years as well. Giga pets, TheSims and other virtual friend apps.

5G hysteria is overblown, IMO. Reminds me of the 80s when preachers claimed cable companies could see through your tv. When I was growing up, the first thing my mom would always do when in a hotel/motel is put a blanket or towel over the tv.

The TVs with video cameras can be hacked, but I haven't seen a TV with a camera for a while. People weren't too happy to find out their Samsung TVs could be hacked and it appears TVs aren't being made with embedded cameras anymore.

Yea I'm with Amanah with this one. That was before Snowden exposed them about the cameras in the digital cable box and modems. And he said whenever it was he left they had been doing it for 7 years then. So pretty much since at least 2005.

Now they want to create their own platform, "in case" China is trying to hack it, they can put a stop to it?? I know exactly what time it is. This has got nothing to do with faster internet speeds. This is a revolution into a new era, the Patriot act to the 3rd power.

To tell you the truth it's almost a East Germany Berlin Wall move on their part. I see it, for what it is. This is the beginning of the ugly side of that socialism where it manifests itself into communism. Then Aquila probably will have his free healthcare! But we're not going to be free, but the trick is to try to make you believe you are, and get you to enslave yourself. They've been doing it for years, but this is a new level of it. Think I'm crazy just watch and see. I believe they revealed too much of their hand already. They are going to now try to tell you it fell through. But all the while truly its going to happen the way they said it was. But they used this fake honesty to earn your trust, and then boom they got you; Hook line and sinker..

She was really worried about you, and asked me to come get you and bring you there."

Just like that, your child is getting into a car with a stranger. One who knew just enough about you and your life to convince your kid they were legit.
You might think your child would never fall for it, but the truth is that most kids would go into a bit of a panic upon hearing their parent had been in an accident. With the right details, they are easy enough to convince. So, what happens when a child goes missing, either because they chose to run away or because they were tricked?

According to Paradise, after the first 24 hours, the chances of finding them alive go down dramatically. It all depends on how big the trafficking ring is. And yes, these rings are everywhere. Some may keep kids local, while others will try to get them out of the country. We don't always know what happens to the kids after they're taken, because too often they go missing and are never found. These kids can't tell their stories because they've just disappeared.

Based on cases in which recoveries have taken place, though, Brenda explains that sometimes it's a local drug dealer, looking to use your child to pay a debt. Sometimes they are used for drug trafficking or sold to pedophiles. A lot of people are unaware that often the pics they have on their cell phones get stored to Google Cloud... ANd those pics often have gps location data embedded in them, so if you post a photo online (or it winds up in the Cloud) a hacker who knows what they're doing (it isn't hard at all) can extract that info and find exactly where you were when the photo was taken. From that they can figure out where exactly you live...
