Texas, Our Texas

Texas, Our Texas! all hail the mighty State!
Texas, Our Texas! so wonderful so great!
Boldest and grandest, withstanding ev'ry test
O Empire wide and glorious, you stand supremely blest.

[CHORUS]
God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth, throughout the ages long.
God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth, throughout the ages long.

Texas, O Texas! your freeborn single star,
Sends out its radiance to nations near and far,
Emblem of Freedom! it set our hearts aglow,
With thoughts of San Jacinto and glorious Alamo. [to chorus]

Texas, dear Texas! from tyrant grip now free,
Shines forth in splendor, your star of destiny!
Mother of heroes, we come your children true,
Proclaiming our allegiance, our faith, our love for you. [to chorus]

There's plenty of networking going on at these manufacturing plants in this area. I've seen it with my own two eyes. What happens is that there aren't many people in this area with those kinds of skills so the employers have to ship someone in from another area. Why bother advertising the opening in this area if there isn't much in the way of qualified candidates? That's why it takes some detective work to find out who's needing someone with your kinds of skills.
I have found IT jobs that I can do in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. There are even jobs that I have found that will utilize Tina's skills also.

The college that I will be going to in Baton Rouge will be able to help me with my certifications and help me get an IT job, which will be a blessing.

RevDWW,

Another Texan here, native Texan, never lived anywhere else.

My ten siblings are all native Texans and all still live here.

Our roots are spreading all over Texas! You may get the

man/woman out of Texas but you would be hard pressed

to get Texas out of the man/woman! Don't Mess with Texas!!

Blessings,

Falla39

I've lived in Ohio for about 50 years. We're called Buckeyes.
I lived in Wisconsin for about 12 years. Folks there are called Badgers.

Some in my family refer to me as "El Mero Mero." That is what my wife and children will use to address me.
