P.S. I preached this past Sunday for a pastor who is a strong three-stepper and there was no problem. He knows what I believe and I don't make an issue out of it.

Nope, I didn't not apply. I don't even know where it is, how to find it, or what the name of it is. There is a stench that radiates from the attitude of "Preachers Only" that is nauseating to me. I wouldn't dare. But...I'm sure the feeling is mutual!

I wouldn't last 5 minutes!

Seriously....When any group of people which share a common bond, separate themselves and not allow anyone into their group which does not share that common bond, it inherently says, "We're better, we're above, you're not worth our time."

I've seen a LOT of "unholy conjecture against men of God" here on AFF and didn't see you protest it. Was it because the "Men of God" weren't preachers? Every follower of Christ is a "Man" or "Woman of God", correct?

While I am not apprehended I want to give a quick answer to that, I have seen people castigate anything and everything in times past & that is one main reason I took a long walk into the sunset.
It doesn't appear to be anything like that now (I could be wrong) & I don't want to be eating anyone up for breakfast.

I am sorry that you were lied about. I do not remember the starting post of this thread, and I know what I had in mind when I started it, and this is not the direction that I had in scope (+)

Honestly, a bunch of preachers having a "preachers only" forum doesn't bother me nearly as much as all these same preachers sitting on the platform during a sermon. I understand the needs of people of a given profession having a place to compare notes, such as in a forum, but the self-righteous separation of the untouchable "men of GOD!" and the normal commoners just grates on me.

I don't know what it is like in the States but in Canada most preachers would rather sit in the congregation than go on the platform.

Ore of the reasons they will have them on the platform is to make room in (usually) a small sanctuary. They can be ready to say something or testify.
Also at Altar call thay are right there ready to pray for someone.

I can see the idea of a preacher forum where preachers can get together and discuss things they have in common. How would that be any different than a group who shared a common profession like barbers or painters or a group that shared a common hobby like stamp collecting or cooking?

My shoulder is still separated at the a.c. joint.

I regret that I opted out of surgery. I am used to it ...I don't realize the (slight) pain. It's only noticeable after a pain pill wears off that I took for a different reason, headache, etc. The shoulder does sit lower and I compensate on the other side when I walk so I don't look like a freak. Thanks for asking.
