If you have 200+ the pastor probably needs a great staff, to help carry the load.

One of the biggest problems in UPCI churches is that 175-200 is the outer limit where one man can have absolute control over every aspect.
Many if not most UPCI pastors won't delegate.
Without near total trust in another that's the barrier.
There is a church not far from where I live been running 150 or so forever.
Five local licensed ministers on the pews, never used.

My guess? Fear and inexperience.
Very few churches have mentoring programs, so there they sit.

That's what I mean, we can blame the pastor's I guess. Or they can step out in faith. I know they probably want to be in the will of God. But, maybe it's just easier to sit. Or do we not have enough churches?

I dunno.... I was glad to move away from my immediate family. At least as far as attending the same church goes.

Hey, Pelathais,
We started back not long after Dad founded the church. Now those we produced
have produced and the ones they produced are now producing. Both by having children
and by all of us winning souls. We are now seeing school classmates and people that
have known us for years, are coming because of lives that were lived years ago. I could
tell you some great things that are going on right now, but I believe I will just be still
and let GOD continue to be GOD!
