I must say, I was under many impressions as a young Christian. One was, the Church is a place where failure is under control. Boy, was I wrong.
Bro Mullings (District Superintendent of California/Nevada) told me once; People are pathetic. He didn't mean it in a bad way, only in the sense of acknowledging the truth.
I think our demise in this area is that we expect too much out of people, failing in the area of mercy. We carry around our bag of rocks, waiting to pounce on those who stumble. |

Same ole, same ole. You say this sort of thing to everyone who ever disagrees with you. Gets old. NFS is as much of a stand-up guy as anyone on this forum. I reject the notion that he "Continually reads things into what someone said." I don't reject the idea, however, that you continually say this to people who disagree with you.
I'll go back into "Lurk" mode, now (I hope). Just wanted to speak up for NotForSale, who is one of the classiest people on AFF.

TBN is some times the only "Church" some people have because of illness, lack of transportation, or nearby Churches that they just don't feel right going to for some reason or another.
There is stuff on TBN I don't personally care for and preachers that I just "can't" watch but there is some good preaching and teaching on there also.
