Thinking of Leaving the UPC

Religious Nut, instead of looking for advice here on a forum that is quite...well...full of many non-Apostolics, how about going to your pastor and discussing this whole issue with him? That would be better than coming on here.

Yeah, I have that crazy notion I would rather be known as a Christian than an Apostolic!!!

Of course a christian who believes in Jesus Name baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues!!!

I put J/K on my post to you because although you do change many doctrines a lot I don't think you have ever not been an Apostolic. Just different stripes of Apostolic!!!

I would be careful how you bring this up to folks in your local church. If you are not really ready to leave.

Because they will look at you differently.

It did not work as I got ready to leave and attend a non-UPC church.

Folks tend to become very judgemental.

I wouldn't have thought it was enough to kick people out over either. But the UPC have showed that they don't want people that don't believe in a literal 1000 years. They kicked all these folks out. I can understand why he's thinking of leaving...
