Re: Jonathon Moore, Mickey Mangun & Russ Taff
Russ Taff first 3 albums, "Walls of Glass", "Medals" and the self-titled album are in my top 20 favorite all time records. The musicians were the top LA session players at the time; Jeff Porcaro, Nathan East, Robbie Buchanan, Michael Landau, Lenny Castro, Paul Jackson, Jr. and the list goes on.

Re: Jonathon Moore, Mickey Mangun & Russ Taff
This is off topic but the West Coast had alot of great country session men.
Of course I used to listen alot of West-Coast Bakersfield type country stuff.

It possibly could have been labeled as rock. When his first solo album "Walls of Glass" was release in 83, it was definately "cutting edge" for Christian music.

Well, only if you rule out Daniel Amos, Steve Taylor, Larry Norman and Randy Stonehill.....

Re: Jonathon Moore, Mickey Mangun & Russ Taff
I came to God in the late 8Os so I seem to remember Russ Taff in the CCM crowd of the day.
