go far enough back and pretty much everything we do comes from some supersticious belief in majic. even washing your hands.
None of which changes the point I made. We are still making potions, but it's done in a laboratory now instead of by a medicine man. You guys are going to have a hard time disconnecting the two and disconnecting that scripture from using pharmaceutical types of cures for what ails us. I do not know why that word was translated into witchcraft or why it was included in that scripture, but that doesn't change what it means one bit, Bro. We still have "witch doctors" and "medicine men" today. The only difference is they work for Pfizer, Merck, Bayer, and other companies.

First off the argument you made has nothing to do with what the topic indicated, secondly do you drink KoolAid (no thats not a racial slur) because by definition that is a potion.

Medication is the synthesis of purer chemicals that treat symptoms. There are very few medications that attempt to cure ailments, and those that do (or are) are merely larger doses or chemicals that emulate already occurring bodily processes.

I am probably the least likely to be a proponent of mass prescriptions (except to pay off Med School) but the comparison of terms is simply ridiculous there is no comparison at all.

I tell you what. dont take any medicine.

your point is what it is and if you want to roll like that fine by me.

but like I said, without Amnioterone (sp) my sons heart would have beat out of his chest and he would be dead today.

with that medication, he lived long enough for God to heal him. God is good. Thank God for the doctors who diagnosed him and treated him and thank God for healing him.

this connecting things to ancient things is silly. it puts a demon behind every shadow. I wont live that way.

Rico,

Perhaps, you should take a chill pill!

I didn't say I don't take medicines, Ferd, did I? I'm just saying you can't disconnect modern day pharmaceuticals from the pursuit of medicinal cures back when the medicine men and witch doctors were the ones coming up with cures. You would only be fooling yourself to say otherwise, Bro. Like I said, I don't know why the translators chose witchcraft as how they translated that word or how it got lumped in with all them other evils, but there's no sense in trying to deny it means what it means.

Hehehehe. Brother, I am a bit grumpy today and certainly not in the mood for idle threats or the chest thumping so common with AFF. Maybe I will be in a better mood later on.

I am hoping you are not referring to me asking you to explain.

You made a pointless post with no substance but an interesting topic expecting everyone to listen to you because you think you are all big and bad.

I can care less if you have tuned me out, the fact is that you made the post acting like you are the final authority and when I ask you to expound you get bent out of shape because you know a student of the field is going to be responding.

If people had more a backbone then maybe your beliefs wouldn't be criticized so much.

No wonder there are so many Apostolic people that are unable to back up their beliefs, they have no backbone when questioned.

This post is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. Unless it was said TIC.
