Not that McCain is much better

I'd rather have Obama or Hillary than McCain. The reason is Republicans will be more likely to stand up to Obama or Hillary than McCain on liberal issues. The Republicans seem to do their best when in the minority, so I'm not too worried about a Democratic President.

What I'd be more worried about is having McCain as President with a Republican Congress too afraid to cross him or stop any of his more liberal initiatives.

If the KKK were, in fact, planning on taking Obama out they certainly wouldn't make it known, so, if they're running off at the mouth about killing him they are planning anything serious.

I would prefer to see Obama as President than Hillary too; however, if Obama doesn't start playing hardball he may just loose the race. Hillary will do whatever it takes to win. She and her campaign were grasping at any bit of gossip, lies or half-truths in order to discredit Obama and sadly many of the voters believed her.

One of Obama's aides commented tonight that Obama refused to stoop to mud-slinging, which showed that he was a man of character. McCain has already stated what his intentions were regarding Iraq and foreign policy. He is a warmonger and if he is elected, we might as well forget about stopping the insanity of the Bush years...more wars and more killings.

We can always pray for a miracle that Ron Paul would somehow end up as our President!

1... you seem to be implying it would make more sense to kill President Bush instead of Obama. Do you have any idea how crazy youre sounding right now? That kind of mess doesn't even belong on a Christian message board to begin with.

2..I don't know where milk is being sold for $4 for a 1/2 gallon (its less than $4 for a gallon in Atlanta) but...If milk prices are high, is it the presidents fault? Its called inflation. Everything goes up. There are a lot of market forces that affect the price of milk and everything else.

..... and when have gas prices been $5 gallon? (The national average right now is $3.22) . Gas prices are mostly caused by crude oil prices. The president can do little or nothing about international oil prices. OPEC can help set the price, but its mostly a matter of supply, and demand from other countries like China and India, etc that drives the price up.

The average oil price in 2001 was $23 a barrel. Today its over $100 a barrel. What do you think happens to gas prices when oil prices more than quadruple in price?? And when fuel prices are higher, what do you think that does to the cost of other goods and services that depend on trucking/shipping, etc ??

The Big Lizard did not make any threats, or any specific statements regarding actions his group might take. He just said that there was enough hate out there that he could not conceive that the attempt would not be made. As a leader of the largest and most influential of such groups, he must surely be aware of the scope and nature of the smaller spin-off splinter groups, which are likely more hard-core.

I interpreted his comments to be speculation about people outside of his sphere of influence. Although he was ambiguous enough to have been giving coded orders, I agree with Rico that if a group were planning something, they would not schedule an interview and speculate about circumstances identical to their plan.

However, it may be too much to ascribe logic and reason to any member of such a group.

Even though war is never a wanted thing, it is sometimes a necessary thing.

I agree with McCain on this, but I don't like his stand on a LOT of issues.

I don't even trust Obama nor Clinton.
