I was watching CNN today and they had some guy that was dismissing all arguments purely on the assumption that the only reason they are questioning BO's status is he is black.

I thought, why not because he is Muslim? Why does it always come down to race as a defense and not facts?

All, as someone who can't stand BHO's policies, I am firmly stating that this birth certificate issue will destroy the Republican presidential selection process.
This is now turning into a litmus test for anyone running against BHO.
Now, in a little bit of a defense of the birthers, BHO is the closest thing we have had to a "foreign" president.
Even if we throw out the fact that he is half African-American.(I like to say that he is as much white as he is black.)
I believe BHO's early formative years have led him to intensely dislike America and most of her traditional allies.
Just read his book about his father and he will see that he "hates" the British and holds them in great disdain. For proof, look at the gift of Churchill's bust that was in the Oval Office, which he returned. Look at how he gave the queen an electronic copy of all of his speeches. He hates the British for being the controlling colonial power in Kenya.
He does not like the Israelis, either. I firmly believe this has to do with his upbringing as Moslem in Indonesia, which led to a natural sympathy with the Arabs.
This is why we need to have him not re-elected to office.
The birther issue will only drive more voters into his camp, by making him appear moderate and the birthers appear radical.
At this point, it does not have to do with right and wrong, but what you can prove.

BHO has provided what he has, which is more than acceptable for the rational thinker.

Furthermore, there is a newspaper article to back up his live birth in America.



Therefore, for someone to bring this up 3 years after the fact is an example of ignorance and/or hate.

The hate I am referring to does not have to be race-based, but for some, I am sure it is.

Most people aren't like that, but they still do exist.


As soon as BHO provided proof of his American citizenship, calls for more was simply irrational-- which is why it never gained any real traction anyway.

This is stupid and it's unnecesarily alienating.

The people who see this as an issue either way are not people who could be counted on to switch either for or against Obama. The so called "birther" issue will not gain/lose votes for Obama, gain/lose votes for Republicans. Its only an issue for people who are strongly for/against Obama. The rest of the voting population will vote for/against Obama for a myriad of other reasons.

High gas prices, high unemployment, deepening deficits, dwindling consumer confidence, uncontrolled spending, higher taxes, devalued dollar, incoherent foreign policy, etc. will be the real reasons BO packs his bags in January 2013.
