That's insanity ... is this usual protocol??? I can't imagine a DS and HQ rep is present in all such cases????

I know a district official must be present. I have never heard of a HQ official being a part of a disaffiliation.

Duh! District officials have to be present!!! Now a rep from the Mothership is something I have not heard of before.

So I guess the peaceful solution to this "crisis" that we were told just a few days ago did not settle the issue after all.

Intersting.I wonder how the pastor has dealt with this publicly at his church. I am sure this particular issue that came up is just one piece of the puzzle in what is going on.

I have no clue what this pastor's philosophy is (even though I do know who it is and no I will NOT tell you if you PM me!!!) but if I had to guess I would say something like this makes it even harder to ignore the fact that your fellowship is legalistics and judgmental and perhaps not where you want to be.
