Def will call Det. Serino as their wit later. I wonder if they'll be allowed to delve into the issues surrounding the case; specifically the pressure Serino was feeling to bring charges against GZ.

Pros is questioning like he's angry, and he probably is. They're getting their case bashed in like TM bashing GZ's head on the concrete.

He's resorted to playing clips of the non-emergency call by GZ where GZ said, "these (blank) always get away," and where GZ said, "(blank) punks."

Pros asked wit if that showed hatred, spite or ill will.

Man, Pros is acting desperate today.

Pros can ask Det what his opinion of what GZ said, but Def isn't allowed to ask if Det's investigative opinion was that GZ was telling the truth.

This is ridiculous. Now they're discussing the different ways of saying one of the curse words GZ said. "He didn't say (blank) in the screeching voice that the Pros did, right? He just said, (blank)."

Sigh.

Last night after reviewing the audio of the proceedings, I got the impression that Officer Singleton, personally, doesn't like the Prosecutor. She seemed a bit more hostile toward him. Just my impression.
