Anyone remember Vestal Goodman back in the day?

In other words, it was a style...a way of wearing long hair.

Perhaps I am getting old and weary and ought to leave it alone, but some things are just worrisome.
And when Pentecostals were wearing the big hair, women with shorter hair were also making theirs 'big'. Remember the beehive? And they were teasing it like crazy! That was the style back then. We just had more of it...lol!

Honestly, either one side is completely right that it's God's will that all women not cut their hair, or it's not. Is it an absolute or isnt it?

What is worrisome is a woman trying to walk with Jesus who is confused and guilt ridden for cutting her hair because some nit wit told her God won't her her prayers and angels are not serving her because of it.

I'm not willing to agree to disagree on that one. That's preaching another Gospel and I won't sit back and allow someone to defame the character of God like that. Better to have millstone tied about the neck and cast into the sea than to offend one of His little ones.

I don't care if George Washington's wife never cut her hair---no matter how long the practice has been around, it has NOTHING, ZIP, ZERO, NADA to do with what Jesus thinks of you. He loves you, He hears your prayers and He will never leave you nor forsake you!

I think folks confuse talent with annointing much of the time, however Sampson kept his annointing for a long time but his heart was not right with God. Vestal never obeyed the gospel by the way. Just saying.

What evidence do you have that she never obeyed the gospel?
