That reminds me of My First Place (on HGTV). We have a couple of families close to us who were on the show and are very recognizable simply because the network has rerun their episodes several dozen times in the last year. Run into one family at our closest Walmart several times already.

Four years ago I was at a home soon after the TV show aired and a lady recognized me.

She said she too used to be Christian, but was not practicing it in her life. I asked if it was O K to have my wife contact her and she said fine. Kristin stopped by and said hello and invited her to Bible studies she was holding in our home. We heard nothing more until last month...

We were in the office/homeschool and I heard a knock at the door followed by Kristin answering and loud sobbing... She says "I'm ready! I need God so bad!" Kristin is having regular prayer and study with her, and the Lord has changed this lady's life - even praying in tongues at bible study and now attending church.

Just thought I would share.

My wife and I watched the episode with the Hoovies on and she remarked that Sis Hoovie was what a real Christin should be. She and I both really liked them and admired them for the unwavering stand for their convictions. I have since gotten to know the Hoovies thru AFF and realy admire and appreciate them.

That is great news. It is simply our job to let our light shine and be ready to follow through when God has had his work. The timing is between God and the individual.
