Dear HeavenlyOne,

I believe there is more than one certified counselor that posts on

this forum.

But my concern is that the Counselor IN me is the ONE they will

see!! If He's not operating in and through us, it is certain that

JESUS, they will not see!

Blessings,

Falla39

Something I have thought about! What was the motive in the hearts

of the men who brought Mary to Jesus. Whether or not they realized it,

they did her a tremendous favor. Could it be that they knew where she

could be found because they themselves had been there. One thing for

sure, once she came in contact with JESUS, she didn't need them any-

more. After people are brought to Jesus, if we can just bring them to Him,

and once they meet Him, and they can just get alone with Him, their needs

will be met. Regardless of what their needs are!!! Mary's were!

If you follow Mary Magdalene, Lazarus and Martha's sister, you will find

her "at His feet", anointing them, wiping them with her hair. While Martha

fretted about the work, Mary found what she needed "at His feet".

Is it any wonder that Jesus first appeared to Mary after he arose from

the grave! She always humbled herself "at His feet". Servant!

Just wondered if anyone would be willing to humble themselves and

wash a brother's feet that perhaps you have felt was unworthy!

If they can't find Him in us, where can they go!!

Why would a dying person want to deceive anyone!

Just get them to Jesus and let Him touch them!! He will take them

from there!!!

Love and Blessings to ALL, in Jesus Name!!

I've been reading and keeping up with this thread from the very beginning. Trying to decide whether I believed the AIDS story or not. But praying for this person all the same. One thing I knew was that it was not for me to know all the details nor to judge the truthfulness of what he's saying. He didn't ask me to send money. Or come to visit him. All we could do was pray. So, ok, I'll pray.

I still haven't decided whether I'm convinced or not. I'm with alot of you who feel like something just doesn't add up.

But after the last post by ChosenOne, it just doesn't matter to me whether he has AIDS or whether he doesn't. What he is doing - even if he doesn't even understand that he's doing it - is reaching out for someone to pay attention and minister to him in some way. So now we're back to what we can do - which is pray.

And franky, if he has AIDS he needs our prayers. Eternity is a long time to be without the Lord if he has not found repentance. And if he has truly repented, then we have to be supportive.
If he does not have AIDS and is just pulling our chains, then he almost needs our prayers even more desperately. If this was what he is doing, then he is screaming for someone to reach out to him.
And even if he doesn't want out prayers - prayer is a VERY effective tool!!! It may just be that GOD is truly to reach him through our prayers.

So CO, I hope you want my prayers, because you've certainly got them. Like it or not

Thank you, Bro. Thad,

In the story in the Bible of the father that had two sons, the elder

brother and the younger, the prodigal. In the end which one of the

sons would you perfer to be. (Daddy, he's a sinner! I ain't never done

anything wrong! Don't kid yourself. You don't have to leave home to

sin!) Now what was it the prodigal said. Or the Pharisee and the publican!

Jesus ate with a Pharisee named Simon. and when a woman of the

city knew that Jesus was eating there, came in, bringing an alabaster

box of precious ointment. As she stood behind him weeping began to

wash his feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair, anointing

them with the ointment. Simon was incensed with this action, thinking

that if Jesus was a true prophet, he should have known what manner

or kind of woman that it was, that was touching him.. Jesus knowing

his thoughts, told of two creditors that owed, one a large amount and

the other a small amount but neither could pay their debt. The creditor

forgave them both. Jesus asked Simon which one would love him most?

Simon said he supposed the one that had been forgiven the most. Jesus

said that he had judged right. Then he told Simon about the woman and

that her sins were many but she had come to Him and then he told the

woman her faith had made her whole. He told Simon what he had not

done. Jesus knew Simon was a sinner too! I believe these were examples

to them just as they are to us today!!! He is the creditor and we are the

sinners. If we are no longer sinner, but sinners saved by His Mercy and

Grace, we must not forget where we came from. but be merciful!

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth weeping,

bearing precious seed (words) shall come again with rejoicing, bringing

his sheaves (souls) with him!! It could be our own children, grandchildren

or other!!
