Our response is not the message, nor what saves us, Jesus is the gate into the life that the message brings. Religion cookie cutters, carbon copies, true religion does not require that everything develop the same way, and everyone at the same pace, that is man's religion.

Ahhhh yes Bro. Theo! But when is one born of the Spirit? This is the pivotal question.

You're welcome, perhaps you can benefit from it. You see, the Word settles all of this when we believe it all, have faith in it all, obey it all.

They know John 3 but dont go beyond Acts .... 1 John 5:

1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God, and everyone who loves the father loves (also) the one begotten by him.
2
In this way we know that we love the children of God when we love God and obey his commandments.
3
For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,
4
for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith.
5
Who (indeed) is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

I don't think completely pointless.

I find there is always something said in these discussions that has merit and value and that offers a perspective I may not have seen before.
