Just what to see how many men are coming out of the UPC.

I kind of have a feeling that a lot of these guys hands are tied... They can't go anywhere... If they try, they are going to have a hornet's nest to deal with in their local church... So now we have come up with the non-active membership of the UPC... Which in reality means nothing... The local saints might have a bit to say about that too...

I would imagine that you have some saints that have given to missions, mothers memorial and such all of their lives... Peanut brittle, bake sales ect... And for a Texas district, and east tx church in particular to cut that off suddenly or even gradual is going to stir some stuff up in the local church...
You know you have several die-hard UPC saints in your church if not more... I am of the opinion, no matter what you tell them, you are not going to be able to convince them to allow you to leave and still pastor them or not cooperate with your District... Even more so if you haven't been there a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg time...

I only have one real UPC die hard and she can be overrode.

We did not give to SFC. I went to the trustees (we don't have a board and won't have one) and told them what went on at NAYC. I brought documentation and pictures. They said that they hod no desire to support that kind of stuff.

They have no desire to support MultiMedia so no desire to support it.

WE support a couple of missionaries though the UPC, these are good men who I know and know want they stand for. Then we support an ind. missionary and will probably pick up one that has left the UPC.

We are going into a building program so all of our money will be needed here.

Plus our church is not affiliated.

UPC or not... For what it is worth... That kind of negative attitude and back-woods way of thinking is exactly why I won't recommend your church to some people that aren't too far from you, looking for a church...

WH... I don't know you personally, but I think your attitude stinks. I just wonder how long a member of your church that refuses to be "overrode" would last with a " my life is on hold--withholding support" attitude cause I didn't get my way. You would have them in the office setting them straight. Amazing to me that the attitudes and conduct we won't tolerate in our churches we will take part in organizationally.

You sir know nothing how I pastor.

We have a wonderful church and good people. These people dont agree with the direction that the UPC is going either AND THEY HAVE VOICED THAT TO ME. I am in a holding pattern, withing to see. My old pastor told me not to make hasty decisions, so I am just waiting, but some of the men are ready to leave, they are hopeful that the Tulsa meting will result in an org that we could join. I personally don't want another UPC, just a network of conservative minister.

Now you just go on and JUDGE me that your right, but you couldn't be any more wrong.

This will be a big blow to all the ultra-cons that were thinking Tulsa was going to be the launch of a new Conservative Organization.

There is one minister that said he wasn't leaving at conference and you know what??? HE DID LEAVE !~

I
m not buying it CP. They said for years that there was not a new org. forming?????? ummmmmmm I'm not buying that either!!!!!!!!!! I have some new INFO!~~

How would they know what is going on in the UPC? You are telling them! I stand by the statement....your attitude stinks. You wouldn't tolerate it from your saints and you know it.
