Sorry, your argument just doesn't hold water. We could debate the point all day, but apparently, you've had a "revelation", and I won't try and confuse you with the facts.
Those are just sooo inconvenient....... Who wants to deal in facts when you can wave rhetoric around!
So, God started the San Diego fires? God is an arsonist?
Furthermore, if that's true, then the firefighters should just stop trying to control the fires, stop rescuing people, and just back away. Let God's will be done. And evacuation orders should stop, I suppose. God will decide who dies, and who are we to try and stop him?
I'm sorry, but this is outrageous! One of the most bizarre things I've seen on AFF, and that's saying a lot!

I prefer the God of Elijah. Elijah learned that the God of Israel was not a natural phenomena. The God Elijah discovered was a source of inspiration, not physical destruction.
Meet the God of Elijah:
9: Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.
10: And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
11: Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.
12: And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
13: And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
14: Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
15: And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. 2 Kings 1:9-15
A God of power and deserving of honor. Yet of compassion to those who approach with a humble spirit.

He is also my God.
Keep reading, and keep learning. Follow Elijah's entire experience.
This reminds me of those threads that put folks in hell right after they die ala Falwell and others. Tacky, very tacky.
As a poster who has had family evacuated, and as one who is praying for their safety, I promise you, if I met you in person, I would POP you in the mouth...I guess that shows my carnality and I need more prayer for sure!!!!!!!!

There is a rather serious problem some people have with their ego. The ego is that part of the mind that defines who a person is. Sometimes an individual will internalize external phenomena into their ego. They will think that they can "read minds" or that they have "secret knowledge" that would not normally be available to them.
Sadly, some people will expand their ego in an attempt to encompass the Almighty. They will "know" when "God" is "doing something" that escapes the attention of others. Arguing with these people is usually pointless. "Popping them in the mouth" would be pointless as well, as you appear to have suggested.

I'm a little surprised by some of the responses I have read here.
Have we become so complacent that we think God would not just our country?
I know of a man that said God dealt with him all night one night back at the beginning of the year. He told us great calamity was coming to America.
IF you consider this year thus far:
Fires in California out of control.
IF I recall correctly earlier in the year there were fires in the NE coast.
Drought in the south
Floods in places never before experiencing floods.
In fact, I am wondering if there is a state in America that hasn't felt storms, fires, etc of some kind. And we haven't even seen what the snow season may bring.
I do not believe God is going to let the abortions and gays to polute this land without cost to the people.
