NO.. because it gives everybody else an excuse.... Well look My wife and I aren't getting along... they divorced.. I think I will too.. and still be able to teach my young marrieds class...
I remember a couple, when I was in High School, getting a divorce. We were shocked to even hear the word. AND it took 6 months just to get a regular divorce. Now, it's 60 days. At least the last time I checked. J/K!!!!
There are no guarantee's that relationship will last without both parties working towards that goal... My question is why didn't they think the relationship was worth saving above their ministry? Is this a new trend? will they be celebrated possibly for their great sacrifice?

Theresa, I don't want to put words in your mouth, so could you explain what you meant? The answer that lies in the question is.... what?
well, I really dont want to get myself into a position of "bashing" them or being judgemental...so I hesitate to elaborate on what I meant. (for fear of being taken as such)
But his question said something about being Holy Ghost filled...I personally think if they WERE HG FILLED, we wouldnt be reading such an article.
Another great point was made about their focus on their ministries instead of their relationship - and we cant begin to know all the ins and outs, but I think their focus shifted a long time ago and herein lies their problem.
if they were full of the HG, I dont think any of this would have happened. the HG doesnt make one perfect, but it sure doesnt make something for mass marketing....
I just dont think when Jesus left this earth that these flashy, multi million dollar productions is what he had in mind when he said we'd be fishers of men..you know?

Good post, Tamor! It would be an excellent example to the Christian community.
Eventually, it will take a toll. The Christian world doesn't really side with issues like this as major support. But, if they set an example, another story although.
A Bishop according to the Scripture has to be the husband of one wife.
He is called Bishop....
hmmmmm
Wonder if her will step it down and come back to earth. I hate it beyond belief that Sandra has bought into this nonsense!
who says she has? She's her friend, I've heard her say nothing more
