Song of confession to me means songs that cry to the Lord our desire for Him to have His perfect will in us. A submission to His will. That song we sung tonight was an example. We simply surrendered as we sung, and the Lord moved mightily. No shouting or dancing, but a definite experience.

Ok, I understand what you are saying. Good explanation. I have always like those service where people are weeping under the influence of a sweet spirit over shouting. Don't get me wrong I love exuberant worship, but there is just something that connects in me when it's a deep serene move of the Spirit.

I like praise just as much or more as some folks. But a service has eternal meaning to me when we leave there worshiping, sincerely seeking, searching and being search by the Spirit. These services have more intrinsic value to me than shouting services.
