That's two of us who haven't said that their goal was to reduce crime. You're avoiding the issue, should the hundreds and hundreds of 'churches' in Memphis winning thousands of souls have an impact on crime? You seem to be suggesting there's no correlation between soul winning and lifestyle changes such as turning from crime.

Why would you consider the hundreds and hundreds of 'churches' in Memphis impotent when it comes to crime?

I've been to Beale Street many times, no problems. Its a great city, lots of culture, lots of great food and music, museums, sports, gardens, golf courses, people. More churches per capita than anywhere in the USA. 2/3 of the population claim church membership. Still lots of darkness and evil lurking destroying lives. Memphis needs Jesus. We're trying to bring Him to them along with a lot of other churches. Some great churches here: Bellevue Baptist, Hope Presbyterian, Life Church of Memphis, Temple of Deliverance COGIC, New Direction Christian Church, Bethel Church (the one I pastor), Love and Truth Cordova. And then there's Elvis...

Would this be the Bethel UPC church that was started on Chelsea or Jackson (near the National cemetery) back in the late 50s????

Maybe you should ask epley, he's under the delusion that he's the head of one of thousands of churches established by Jesus Christ. I'm guessing that he thinks his church, bro. epley's church, is "great". He may know of bro so-and-so's church in Memphis that's "great" also.

As a matter of fact if I was serious and not being extremely sarcastic, I would have asked Elder Epley.
