Yeah I tore off the "follow me to the friendly United Pentecostal Church" sticker when I realized nobody could keep up with me anyways

If it were an Apostolic woman there would have been no question.

This is my entire point. They were looking at me kind of weird even though for all intents and purposes, I was wearing the Apostolic uniform!

I suppose I could have said "Gawd bless y'all" in a sanctified tone and I may have gotten a better return...

If someone held the door and called me brother, I would have known there was some sort of connection they were trying to make with me.

And my point to the person I was responding to is that they were NOT in fact unkind or mean. They thanked you. I would be perplexed too if some person I never met held the door and called me brother or sister.

I am kind to everyone, not just someone that wears a supposed "Apostolic uniform"

Yes, I do. It relates to Dagon as well as other fish gods in various mythologies.
Also, have you ever seen the trinity symbol commonly found on the spines of various theological books? Take one part of that and you have the fish.
That symbol was adopted by early religious groups as representing their belief, but its roots are pagan.

Apostolic uniform, what's that?
I pass by a Catholic church and the men dress the same as we do, so do the Jehovah Witnesses, and the FLDS, and Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists....

Can you prove that the fish symbol used by early christians to identify themselves as Christians to other Christians while they were being persecuted by Rome comes from Dagon and other fish gods?

Similarity is not causation.

Im sure you can take apart any number of other symbols in various parts and come up with something....that alone does not prove it is pagan

I thought I would try something. As I saw them coming in, I pulled the door open for them saying, "Sister, let me get that door for you folks." They said, thank you for holding the door, and I said to the man, "Brother, you're welcome, any time!"

They were looking at me like I had sprouted a third eye in my forhead...until they saw my wife...they brightened up, "HI!! DO YOU GO TO CHURCH? WHAT CHURCH TO YOU GO TO!!" The transformation in their countenance was amazing...but telling at the same time.

I realized that the A-standards is how we identify ourselves...Just like the FISH Symbol on the back of our cars...

Funny thing hunh???
Car-Pun-ter!

I see two possible scenarios.

A. They did not want to seem flirtatious.

B. They didn't think you were good looking.

Think about it.

Carp, I have to ask just because I'm curious.

You identified the skirt people, but I wonder, would you have recognized the men if their wives didn't draw your attention to them? I mean, would you have held the door and spoke to them that way (not meaning unkindly, but perhaps not saying anything) if your attention wasn't drawn to them?

No, I have opened doors for bikers, thieves and stoners before and they didn't look at me like these precious saints of God looked at me. I suppose they are very wary of folks calling them brother/sister.

I know I am not good looking, no having to think about things there.
