A guy at work said that it was a SciFi version of Dancing With Wolves, only the guy joins a society of blue people instead of Native Americans like Costner did. He called it "Dancing With Smurfs."

I saw avatar tonight in 3d (with the glasses).

Amazing movie, the only other movie that sucked me in like that was the first Matrix (2 &3 bleah).

Its a must see.

Went to see this last night. I have to say, we were VERY impressed!

Just an all-around GREAT movie. Never a slow/dull moment. Good character development. Believable action.

And of course, incredible graphics.

We didn't see the 3-D version (3-D vision/glasses really bothers my eyes) & I don't think we missed out on anything. It seemed just as great as what everybody else has been saying about it.

CUDOS to James Cameron for another GREAT movie!

Watched it on Saturday, got very dizzy and VERY nauseated. I had to leave one time to collect myself. If I felt I was going to get sick after that I just put my head back and listened to the movie!
