Look at the VA. It is very mismanaged. The men that were wounded serving their country treats them like an unwanted plight.

Look at the Medicare. It started out as seemly a good thing. It cost more, the doctors are not getting paid a fair rate, nor paid in a timely manner. What is covered is deminished every year and the cost to the taxpayer goes up.

I will say the doctors are a part of the problem with the healthcare due to some massive abuse. Not all doctors abused the system, but those that did, really hurt the system.

Based on these examples of the government being in charge and the poor results does not in any way encourage me to even want to consider the government having any say so in the matter.

Plus the original HC bill, had some very bad plans.

They did want to have death counseling.

They did want to have rashioned care.

If these things don't get approved the first time they will plan to wait it out and sneak it in like they usually do. And that is both parties guilty!

At this time, I do not like what I have read about the proposed insurance. Don't know what changes are proposed.
Esther, this is the 2nd time you have stated this re healthcare. Where are you getting your info?!

I quoted a group in the insurance game which stated this isn't so, and you didn't believe their report.

So, on what are you drawing your conclusions?!

I think it was PO or Coadie that posted a youtube of OB making that statement in his run for president. He said it may take awhile to get it accomplished but that is his goal. And it was not a one time statement.

I have also heard the clips played on Hannity and Rush as well. So it is out there. That is his goal, to have a government run healthcare that takes out the private sector.

Then those in the business of providing insurance to millions are incorrect in their information.

Interesting...

Barb, I believe he has backed down for "now" on pushing that because of the uproar from the people. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to sneak it in again later.

Haven't you heard him and others put the blame on the insurance companies for the plight of the healthcare system?

Esther,
Here's a couple of Obama's fear gaffes that have proved to be lies. Should I put this on the thread - YOU LIE!

Obama and Michelle should have collaborated before their speeches! lol
