Are the 6 people who voted something less than 100% certain (one of which was "no idea") miserable people?
I just think it's funny how there is so much "we are right and everyone else is wrong" going on in lots of very different religions, and we are somehow supposed to guess right which of them really have the right to say that. Those 23 voters for 100% certainty sure are lucky!
I don't dislike Bill Maher because he's agnostic. I dislike him because he's annoying.
As for "guessing right"--I think you start with tangible evidence of divine intervention, and then track historically the interactions of that Being with humanity. Follow the bread crumbs, as they say.

Timmy, I am glad you are part of this kooky group called AFF. I think I understand where you are coming from and while we may not agree on most issues related, I certainly find you engaging and interesting and someone with something to add...
Bill Mahar on the otherhand, I cannot say such about. i am reminded of something Paul said.
Alexander the Coppersmith has done much evil, the Lord will reward him according to his works (or some such)....

Actually, being prayed up is what would keep me from watching such trash. *wink wink*
I think you could watch it much like any of Micheal Moore's documentaries - just to see how off he is. I'm not interested because I've seen enough clips to see how "off" Maher is.
And, yes, I do like Timmy - he is engaging, funny and interesting.

Not that I watch Michael Moore or any other kookoo, I just don't see the need to waste time or money on garbage. After reading Timmy's review, I don't see the need to support Maher with money to spread his garbage. Much like I do not need to support Moore's agenda.

I wasn't encouraging you to watch either man. I was telling you why people do it - some because they support their beliefs and some to find out their exaggerations and lies.
Quite understandable. (I spent $8.50 on the ilk, plus $28.31 on dinner. Whoa nelly!)
(BTW, the "ilk" I mention wasn't Religulous. It was Audience of One, though I don't know if that qualifies. It was more fair and balanced, IMO. Relatively speaking! )

Oh. Did I miss the review on Audience of One?? I really am interested...
