Re: For PO & Others From Texas!

Personally, I can't stand the State of Texas. I lived there before my son was born and didn't like it one bit. I hope to never visit that state again. However, I like my posting friends who are from Texas.

Now I'm ready to go vote on your label poll.

Lubbock. I lived in a small town about 40 miles south called Brownsfield (maybe Brownsville. I get them mixed up), then I moved to Lubbock. It was the worst three months of my life.

For me, Lubbock would not be my first choice either.

I've heard Austin is nice. Still don't plan on visiting there though. I've heard the law is probation happy in that State. Can't remember where I read it, but I read somewhere that almost half the population in TX is on probation. Y'all either have a bunch of lawbreakers there, or they arrest you for some dumb stuff in the State of Texas. I recently heard about the guy who got away with shooting two guys because he thought they were robbing his neighbor's house. I know it's legal to shoot to kill if they're breaking into your own house, but your neighbor's? You get arrested for dumb stuff but can shoot people breaking into your neighbor's house? Doesn't compute. lol

Yes, that was in Pasadena. I agree with what he did. Those guys were habital criminals. Why should folks just let criminals run wild?

Don't get me started!
