All I can say is that I am glad God has it all in control. When all hell breaks loose we can just blame Him.
God I pray you have it all in control and you are not just letting America hang itself because you are tired of their rebellion.

Re: Barack Emailed Me Last Nite: Looking Forward

Back when Howard Dean was running for President and made his insane speech where he screeched and hollared like a crazy man about going all the way to various states and the White House I eamiled his campaign to tell him just what a moron I thought he was.

I knew he would never see it but at least wanted some haples lib college student stupid enough to be volunteering in his campaign to read my opinon.

Problem was that no one apparently actually read any of the emails they received. They just assumed all were supportive and positive.

I got a nice email reply thanking me for my email and treating me like a supporter. Ever since then I have been on the stupid email address list for the Democrat National Committee.

I have not opted out because I like to know what the enemy is up to. Their emails bashing President Bush and now John McCain are hilarious they are so stupid.

I personally believe he will fill a role very similar to FDR ... as we slip into more economic turmoil ..

For every thing there is a season ... and a leader.
Let's begin here ...

almost prophetic ... I must say.

If he fills a role like "FDR", then it won't really help anything at all. FDR policies did not end the depression. The war and the spending associated with it effectively ended the depression.

Re: Barack Emailed Me Last Nite: Looking Forward

Quote:
“I am running for President of the United States to lead this country in a new direction… Instead of being distracted from the most pressing threats that we face, I want to overcome them. Instead of pushing the entire burden of our foreign policy on to the brave men and women of our military, I want to use all elements of American power to keep us safe, and prosperous, and free. Instead of alienating ourselves from the world, I want America – once again – to lead…

This must be the moment when we answer the call of history. For eight years, we have paid the price for a foreign policy that lectures without listening; that divides us from one another – and from the world – instead of calling us to a common purpose; that focuses on our tactics in fighting a war without end in Iraq instead of forging a new strategy to face down the true threats that we face. We cannot afford four more years of a strategy that is out of balance and out of step with this defining moment.”
— Barack Obama, Washington, D.C., July 15, 2008
Balanced Leadership during these Chaotic and Tenous Times

When faced w/ a choice between a hawk's hawk in a turbulent economic and politically tenous time ... I want the leader who will not peak into a man's eyes and think KGB ... or will put their eggs in one basket ... including the lives of our soldiers and trillions more in money that can be re-channeled in other threats to our security and failing economy ...

... I seek an assertive and broad-minded leader who is willing to sit with our allies, enemies and seek solutions without setting pre-conditions framed by a Cold War mentality.

With trillions of dollars of debt owed to the emerging superpower in the world in China ... 70% of our dependence on foreign oil .... Russia's sword rattling in Eastern Europe and now Latin America .... etc. etc. etc.

a reactionary and unbalanced temperment is not the answer. McCain's Straight Talk has alienated even his colleagues and men like James Dobson.

Barak offers a balanced, business like mindset and a wide range of solutions ... in approaching this new time.

As our economy becomes more globalized our foreign policy must become globalized ... and not just one-issue focused.

Terrorism is one of many pressing issues.

Barak's colleagues ceded the floor to him in expressing their party's concerns ....know he is capable to lead in the recent bailout talks at the Whitehouse ...

This tells me he has the goods ....
