Rhoni, if you were to actually debate this on national TV, you would be belittled and be as a lamb to the slaughter. It would not be worth the sacrifice. The media would crucify you.

She has almost nothing to gain; he has nothing to lose.

Never get in a tussle with a man who has nothing to lose, if you can help it.

Ultimately a debate is unnecessary. If one does not have the conviction of the Holy Spirit to resist, no amount of talking will produce anything of value.

There are no winners in this type of dialog. Everybody looses. This is not something a Christian should seek to do.

He obviously has chosen this path and seeks to influence others also. This influence is damaging to those who are convicted and trying their best to remain righteous before God.

It's one thing to sin against our body, it's another to sin against Christs' body.

That is what the devil would like us to think. Like David stood against the giant with his only tried and true weapon...doing it in the name of the Lord...he was the victor. I am not afraid.

Rhoni, did Jesus ever debate? He taught. He was an example, but I don't know that we could ever say he debated.

While I appreciate your courage, confronting only empowers their agenda and polarizes the debate further. What would you seek to gain? Christ needs no defending. It is the Holy Spirit which brings conviction, not our confrontational stance.

The truth is that we are ALL broken in some area of our life. Brokenness is not a license for sin.

Yes, but were not called to be the sin police. We are called to be salt & light. God will deal with their conscience and if they choose to ignore it, then He will give them up to a reprobate mind and no amount of preaching or debating will entice their wicked heart.

Some things can only be conquered through prayer and patience.

I agree and that is how I pastor as well.

Christian Garrett has been here numerous times and his message basically, unless I misunderstand, is that the homosexual lifestyle is acceptable to God. No one has gone after him, he has willfully come here. I'm certainly not trying to be hard on him or state that he is demon possessed as some might, but I can't condone his position either.
