Yup, you and Carlton have it right. remission was at the sacrifice.
all sins were remitted at the cross, all sins are forgiven and we are all saved.
I don't know Carlton and truthfully haven't studied his doctrine. However, all sins were remitted at the cross you are absolutely right. They were paid for with Jesus' blood.
Now, you and I must "trust" in faith what God's Son did for us. And we must receive his gift of love to us. Then and only then can we become the sons of God.
John 1:
10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
You may have already seen this clip. This breaks down Acts 2:38 in the Greek. Grammatically broken down.

By grace are you saved through faith...faith in the sacrifice of Christ. By which the remission of sins came.

This what it's come to SS ... they no longer can't argue their point on the merits of scholarship, grammar, logic or scriptural support ... this video was about what is linked to our remission ... and it pointed out the proper context of their beloved verse ... and still he wants to parse words w/ you and his perception of what he thinks you said....
