They could switch between the two locations - St. Louis odd years and Louisville even years.
True about the eye-opening of visiting WEC!

COGIC has their conferences in Memphis every year.

Renda, you're killing me here! HAHHA!!!
(inside joke)
Ahem, a friend told me that there are normally 4 semi-trucks of freight sent to conference each year. The mileage reduction will be a huge cost savings in 2009.

Well, that "friend" knows what he's talking about. I use to work general conferences and it's work.

People really have no idea just how much work it really is.
Ask rrford.

Since he pays he has a right to have negative attitude I have mine for free.

not only that - all the officials could stay at HOME instead of high hotel bills for rooms/suites, food, travel..etc.
Not to mention the employees of WEC that go for a WEEK to work...
St Louis has MORE than enough room to house participants

I do know the attendance has declined in the past few years.

That's what I was thinking as well. It would definitely help though.

BTW, a St Louis GC is great for folks who have never been to HQ, and tours are offfered daily during the conference. It can be quite eye-opening for folks who have never visited WEC.

I remember the first time I went to HQ and I was expecting to see the lavish offices I had heard about, to see the lavishly furnished HQ.
Got to tell you folks, there are some nice offices but not that nice.
HQ is about a middle of the pack Class 2 (or 3) building.
Very well kept - must have great maintenance people.
