I don't know if I would call someone who publicly rebukes elders - humble.

See the Holy Bible, Daniel. Good grief!!!!!
NASB: Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers, (NASB ©1995)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GWT: Never use harsh words when you correct an older man, but talk to him as if he were your father. Talk to younger men as if they were your brothers, (GOD'S WORD®)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KJV: Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ASV: Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brethren:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BBE: Do not say sharp words to one who has authority in the church, but let your talk be as to a father, and to the younger men as to brothers:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DBY: Rebuke not an elder sharply, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brethren,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEY: Never administer a sharp reprimand to a man older than yourself; but entreat him as if he were your father, and the younger men as brothers;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WBS: Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEB: Don't rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YLT: An aged person thou mayest not rebuke, but be entreating as a father; younger persons as brethren;

Good grief ... PP are you saying the prophets contradicted the Bible ... when the prophets spoke they spoke the Word of God .... that openly rebuked elders ...
are we so formal in our Apostlicness that now elders are beyond reproach ...???

Did he rebuke them with the Word, or with a rotten "I'm more enlightened than you" attitude? Oops, maybe my agenda is way too clear.

Truly the ministerial body now sees itself exempt from rebuke from the Word .... that's a clearer agenda
The "We can do no wrong" attitude is why resolution 6 is a hot fire issue ... my dear Grasshopper.

Some men seem to revel in seeming to align themsleves with the laity as though they were anti ministry. To undress them publicly. But for the Lord to rebuke me through a message I have been sent to my knees weeping many times through a rebuke from the Lord through the word of God but not some cockeyed comedian posing as a preacher(whoever that may be).
