That looks like a good depiction. If shot in that position, there might not be any blood leakage onto the person lying down unless the person on top fell on him after being shot. To my knowledge, GZ has never said that TM fell on him after shooting him.

No, he never said that TM fell on him. And also, the autopsy reports little blood leakage as 2 liters had filled his lungs.

One question I would have regarding GZ's re-enactment. He said that after, TM said, "You got me", GZ thinking he meant he was giving up the fight, pushed him aside and stretched out his arms to try and pin him down. When the police arrive, TM's arms are under the body. So, I don't get that.

Because the bullet didn't go all the way through it had to have been a jacketed hollow point. When they go in, they go in the size of the hole, the flesh would close up the wound. But, there are lots of variables. That's just one. A full metal jacket would have gone all the way through, unless it hit a rib.

Handgun wounds to the heart don't typically have a 'spray'. The blood will fill the chest cavity instead, then leak out.

In addition, the heart is centrally located behind bone and muscle and other tissues. However, the chest cavity has lots of room for fluid.

Yes, lots of room and from the autopsy, his chest cavity, for both lungs, was filled with blood - 2 liters. That's a lot of blood.

I was reading the initial autopsy again, and seeing that they found "three fragments of projectile", indicates a rib had been hit or the bullet wouldn't have fragmented. Looks like GZ hit him on the left side at an angle.

He could have spread his arms and if TM was still alive his arms could have went back to clutching his chest in pain. Also GZ could have meant to and started to but did a poor job and was distracted when people started coming out.

Another thing is I can't fully trust GZ's reenactment because too many factors play into it. I use it as general bases of events. Some people would say he's lying because of inconsistencies or inaccurate information and the fact that he's going to omit or portray only that which he believes would make him appear innocent. On the other-hand I know from somewhat limited experience that a fight or traumatic experience is sometimes perceived and remembered differently from the ones experiencing it and the ones maybe witnessing. For example his head could have only been on the concrete and hit about a couple of times but the fear of such would make it feel like it happened way more than it did.

I'm not an expert so I don't care to try to decipher from the possible traumatic misremembering, the embellishing, the omitting, and the outright lies. Somethings regarding the reenactment timeline don't really fit with the NEN recorded call.

But considering where he was parked and where the "T" is and that being the point of the confrontation, even from the witnesses testimonies, its likely TM either ran a bit and hid or came back to initiate a confrontation. And unless GZ was just standing still for a long period of time, wherever he went the fact that the confrontation happened at the "T" about 30 second walk from his truck he was most likely heading back. The confrontation happened about 3-4mins after he left his truck.
