Here are more scriptures referring a "thorn" being identified as a human being! These thorns weren't a physical illness!
Numbers 33:55
But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Joshua 23:13
Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges (WHIP) in your sides , and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
Judges 2:3
Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.
I'll be sure to inform the U.S. Board of Education of their error.
Now, for the THIRD time Praxeas, I ask that you please answer my question.
Once again....let's explore this subject through another avenue. Paul pleaded thrice that this thorn might be removed, correct? There must also be examples within the bible's text of this thorn afflicting Paul, wouldn't you agree? I mean, why verbalize the problem without displaying examples?
Now, let's pretend a spirit or infirmity was this so-called thorn.
Can you give me any examples through scriptures of this spirit or infirmity buffeting Paul?
Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."(KJV)
